â©We are in a time of shifting from one season into the next. On one hand, we have crossed over into the New Year on the Hebrew Calander, as of sundown last night. On the other hand we are still in Teshuvah, and we now are in the most important time of the this season, the 10 days leading up to Yom Kippur known as the "Days of Awe".âł I believe this year, these Days of Awe are more significant than ever before...especially in light of all that has recently happened and the warnings the Lord has been sending. Even if we've never heeded this season before, I believe we need to now! Of all of the 40 Days of Repentance (Teshuvah) that we are in, these last 10 days are the most important..to reflect, repent, and return to the Lord in a fresh, new way. According to the Jewish observation, these ten days between Rosh Hashanah (New Year) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) are called the âDays of Aweâ - Yamim Noraim (Days of Repentance). These special days are designated as days of repentance and atonement, promoting serious introspection and reconciliation. Let us continue to press in during this time, more than ever before, and ask the Lord to create in us a clean and pure heart, to wash us once again with His blood and forgive us of those things we have done that have grieved His heart. Let us return to the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of all wisdom. Release Your Spirit of Repentance throughout this land Oh God, and let us return to You with a holy fear and awe of Your Mighty Presence! #SpiritOfRepentance #DaysOfAwe #Teshuvah #FearOfTheLord #BeginningOfWisdom #ChangeYourMind đÂ
