UPDATE AND EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Well, it has officially been announced publicly, so I can now share the exciting news! 😃🙌🎉
As of earlier this year, after much prayer and discussion, Darin officially became half owner, along with a partner, of Emmons Guitar Co.! 🎶
We truly felt this was a major God opportunity, and that this was confirmation of what the Lord had been showing us was coming for several years (specifically regarding Darin's re-involvement with "sound", music, etc). How it all came about is a story for another day, but suffice it to say it was all God! I share a little bit more on the "Kingdom" factor below. 👇
Some may not even know what a steel guitar is (although you would surely know one if you heard it), and even if they do know about this instrument, they may not know about Emmons steel guitars. For those who do know, they are aware that this is no ordinary brand. Emmons steel guitars, which were originally built back in 1965 by the legendary Buddy Emmons, is one of the best, if not the best, steel guitars ever made.
For a number of reasons, this company has not made steel guitars for a time, but it is now under new ownership with Darin and his partner, and they are bringing this guitar back! We believe it is going to be better than ever, and we are determined to build amazing sounding instruments that last a lifetime!
I (Amanda) have also taken a position as lead strategist here at Emmons, and I am excited to be a part of this amazing and historic company!
Emmons Guitar Co. is bringing back the legendary 1965 steel guitar, and this 2nd generation guitar, called the ReSound'65, will be built with all of the precision and tone that the original guitar was renowned for all over the world.
KINGDOM
Along with music and instrument making, Darin and I also know that this is a God-given opportunity that He has brought to us, as this will be a Kingdom company 100%. Our partner is also a Christian, who wants to see the Lord glorified in all we do.
There is so much more "God & Kingdom" stuff to this than even just this company, or even this instrument of "10 strings" (if you know, you know 😉) - from "releasing a new sound", to "going back to go forward", and influencing those in this sphere. The Lord has confirmed that this is part of the destiny that He has for us in this hour.
We believe God is positioning us to make a mark in the Arts and Entertainment sphere, with a well known, already positioned instrument brand (especially in country, gospel, and jazz music genres), and we have already seen this happening in amazing ways! We have already been praying for and sharing His Kingdom with those in this realm, some who don't know the Lord at all, and some who do, but need a fresh touch from Him.
As many of you know, the Lord has had Darin and I doing "marketplace ministry" for some time, as we have owned and operated a Kingdom business, along with our function with Kingdom Life Ministries, for a number of years.
We know that He has called us to be both "Kings and Priests" in this hour, and we truly feel this is another amazing opportunity to do just that! This is simply another room that the Lord is building out in the Kingdom Life Center that He has called us to. We will still be operating and functioning as ministers in the Kingdom as much as ever, although we are having to prioritize and plan around His timing, purposes, and schedule in this hour.
This is just the beginning of a long line of innovative and state-of-the-art instruments, accessories, and gear that Emmons will be showcasing in the days and months to come...
And it is just the beginning of what God wants to do in this sphere. May His Kingdom come, and His will be done in all we do! 👑
